Closure due to COVID-19

Today the Governor shut us down again. This is so devastating as we were just able to open back up! But we will survive and in the meantime we can just keep working on ourselves I will reach out to each of you regarding your appointments.

Time to celebrate Reopening Hey guys! It's finally time! A little over a week and I get to see you all again! I'm super excited to see you but at the same time a little nervous with the rise in cases. As most know, my 80 year old grandmother lives with me so let's keep that in mind when you come in for your appointments. As stated in the previous email, we've had to do a lot of changes per CDC and State Board of Barber and Cosmetology. No short cut is worth any of us gettin...g sick or fined for that matter! We will be disinfecting our rooms after each client, including the restroom and lobby. I will not be providing a top blanket for facials at this time, so if you get chilly please bring your own. I also will not be using steam at this time but warm towel wraps! I know a lot of you love the steam but what can I do? Regulations. Please wait in your vehicle and text me 559 916 9770 when you arrive and when I'm ready for you I'll come out to get you and remember no guest allowed with you at this time. Please wear a face covering and be prepared to wash your hands or sanitize at the door when you first enter. We will also be taking temperatures so if your feeling any kind of under the weather please reschedule. Per facials and face waxing, your mask will come off but I will be in a mask and during facials I'll also be in a face shield. Lucky me! We’ve made some changes due to COVID-19 Wow! What a crazy last couple of months! We have some things to go over before we open, so here they are. First, the Governor has given the ok for us to open in the State of California for June 19th. The Fresno County Health Department has to give the final ok for us to open, which is looking like June 26th. I personally will not be opening until the week of July 7th. So be expecting a call from me this week to schedule your appointmen...ts. Some guidelines that we need to follow and how your appointments will be different are as follows: 1) If you have any symptoms of Covid 19 - dry persistent cough, fever, loss of smell or taste, flu symptoms please reschedule your appointment. If you have been sick or around anyone who has been sick within 14 days please be honest and reschedule. This is extremely important for me as my grandmother lives with me and is highly Immuno compromised. 2) Please only come to your appointment alone. Our lobby only allows for two people to be in at a time. Therefore if the lobby is full please wait in your car and text me to let me know when you are here and I will get you as soon as I am ready for you. 3) Per entry your temperature will be taken and logged with your signature that you have no signs of Covid 19. 4) Face mask are required to be in the building and during all appointments. For facials and facial waxing you can take off once in the treatment room and will put back on immediately after. 5) We ask that you use hand sanitizer or wash hands for 20 seconds once in the building. 6) I will be wearing a face mask and gloves during all appointments. Your facial may feel a little different but just as good! 7) If you would like a blanket on top of your sheet during your facial, please bring one in with you. 8) Please no food or drinks allowed in the building. You will notice that we had to get rid of our water station until further notice. 9) Please do not touch retail products, if you have a product you want or have questions, I will gladly get them for you. Thank you so much for sticking this out with me. I know things are changing and will be different but at least we can get back to some regularity. Clients, just so you know once the Governor gives the ok I still have to wait for the City of Fresno Health Department and The State Board of Barber and Cosmetology to give the ok. Ok clients, here is a little breakdown for what this means for all of us at the Spa. THIS IS ONLY HAIR. this is NOT including personal services, such as esthetics and nails.... "Services that cannot be performed with face coverings on both the worker and customer or that require touching the customer’s face, e.g., eyelash services, eyebrow waxing and threading, facials, etc., should be suspended until those types of services are allowed to resume." There has been some confusion going on regarding Fresno County opening up certain establishments on Tuesday. Just to clarify, Salons are ran by State licensees , which need to follow the states requirements ,not County. We are not run by local governments such as other businesses. If I open or have manicurist, barbers/cosmetologist working - they can get fined and I can have my license pulled. So please be patient. Once we get the ok from State Board of Barber and Cosmetology that we can open I will reach out to every one of you. I hope this clarifies some things up.
