Meet Chaplain Cici! Chaplain Cici Trino became an Eskaton chaplain because of her deep compassion for those individuals learning to navigate the challenges of aging. Like all of us at Eskaton, she believes that Age is Beautiful, knowing that we all have so much to give and share, no matter how old we are. Through her chaplaincy, Chaplain Cici has grown more patient and become a better listener, and has learned that a good sense of humor goes a long way. Her favorite things ab...out serving as a chaplain is making someone laugh, being able to cry with them, convincing elders of their past and present value and offering hope about the next chapter. Continuously encouraged by the outpouring of love shown to residents through #QuarantineKindness campaign. We thank St. Francis High School Sacramento senior Jenna for her generosity. Jenna explains, "I wanted to find a way to help people in the community that also made use of my creative skills, and I knew that if I felt isolated during this pandemic, then seniors who could no longer have family visit them must feel it even more.
