That's right! We're back! Did you guys miss us, because we sure did miss you! With Sacramento Country reopening movie theaters and dine-in at 25%, that means we too will be opening and running at the same percentage. We will only be running 1 game per time slot with no strangers coming into contact with each other. Staff and players will be required to wear masks AT ALL TIMES while in the venue, even during game play. ... STRANGER DANGER! Games are all private and will remain so. Sanitizer is available before, during and after the game. Every single room in each game has a bottle for players to use. We will be following every CA and CDC guideline for cleaning each game while using hospital grade cleaners. Again, please remember that masks are required in our venue. You will not be allowed in without one. Safety is our top concern and we will be going above and beyond to keep our staff and customers safe at all times but in doing so, we will need your help. To book please visit us at www.escapesacramento.com/tickets Hope to see you soon! -Jen

Hey everyone! I know it has been awhile since we have posted an update concerning the state of Escape Sacramento. We have been getting lots of calls about if we are reopening again and when that will be. The outreach from our loyal customers has been absolutely amazing in this time of uncertainty. I have been in contact with the county about when we will be allowed to reopen and while we still do not have an answer on when that will be, we wanted to let you guys know that w...e WILL be coming back. During this time off we haven't stopped work! We have some big things coming your way including 3 portable games (available once we reopen) and a new game (debuting in October) at Escape Sacramento. Our team has been hard at work getting ready to bring you the best that Escape Sacramento has to offer. We cannot wait to share these new experiences with you. We hope that all of you have remained happy, healthy and safe. Be sure to check out our Instagram soon for exclusive photos from our new build.

I hope this message finds all of you happy and healthy. While we are going through this difficult time, I wanted to check in with all of you and thank you for all of the support we have seen from everyone who was willing to take a credit and even those who will rebook with us in the future. We truly have some of the most amazing customers. While we all, at times, complain about being home for two weeks or the fact that our kids are out of school for a month. Please do not lo...se sight of all those who are risking a lot to protect us. We want to give thanks to all the men and women who are still working away to keep us all safe in this tough time. In doing our part, we will be donating all of the gloves that we have to local hospitals so that maybe they can stay safe, even for just one more patient. If you know of any local hospitals or local clinics that are needing gloves, please let us know. Jen Galli General Manager

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY: Escape Sacramento will be closed from 3/16/20 to 3/31/20 in hopes of helping stop the spread of the Coronavirus that has been plaguing our area for the last week and a half. The safety of our customers and employees is our main priority and we feel this is an action that must be taken to help protect our community. All games that have been booked within that time period have been e-mailed and refunds/credits will be processed asap. We are truly sorry f...or any inconvenience this has caused for any of our loyal customers. We hope to be back up and running soon. Thank you for your patience and understanding! I just want to share a little bit about how coronavirus is affecting us and how you can continue to support small businesses in your local community. On Thursday, we had 9 tickets booked and 32 cancelled, not including 3 corporate bookings. On Friday, we had 23 tickets booked and 22 cancelled, not including 4 corporate bookings. So far today, we've had 17 tickets booked and 44 cancelled, not including 2 corporate bookings.... We have a full spectrum response to coronavirus in place, including a lot of policy changes, new infrastructure, and a very aggressive disinfecting schedule. (For more on that, please take a look at https://escapesacramento.com/faq.) That said, it's completely understandable given the current situation that most people are just staying home and cutting non-essential interactions out of their lives. Restaurants & bars are being hit hard, and entertainment venues are being hit even harder. Most of these types of small businesses are extremely low-margin, and most owner-operators don't have a lot of extra cash lying around. We, and many other like us, are putting health & safety first and upholding our commitments to our staff by offering 2 weeks paid sick leave and keeping all weekly shifts on the calendar. What can you do to support the nine of us, and all of the other small businesses you would normally frequent? Well, if you're feeling under the weather, or you don't feel comfortable going out to public places right now, then... don't! Stay at home! Spend time with your family! But also: 1) If you are rebooking or rescheduling, please choose full BOOKING CREDIT over a refund if at all possible. About half of our cancellations so far have made that choice, and we appreciate it more than we can express. 2) Consider BUYING A GIFT CARD to your favorite local establishments. The ones you really don't want to see disappear. For us, you can use the code "READYFORSPRING" and get 25% off all gift cards purchased for the rest of the month! That's your way of saying, "Yes, I'll be visiting -- just not right now." It's also your way of keeping all of us on our feet long enough to outlast this pandemic. We sell customizable gift cards at https://escapesacramento.com/gift-cards. Many other local businesses have a gift card option available on their web sites. We all deeply appreciate your support. Sincerely, Jen Galli, General Manager on behalf of the Escape Sacramento team -- Elaine, Kaitlin, Ben, Devin, Brian, Chris, Amrin, and Heather -- and all of the other small businesses in our area who are facing the same struggles

These are unprecedented times, and the health and safety of our customers and staff are our top priority. In making this happen we have instituted numerous policies over the last 3 weeks. 1: All of our games have now been made private as of 3/12/20. You will only be with people you know. 2:All games(I.E. puzzle and props), bathroom(I.E. the faucets, knobs, ect..) and lobby (we have removed our after game props for the time being) are 100% sterilized after every game. Staff ...wear gloves and every item in the rooms are disinfected. 3: Our building have been undergoing deep cleanings 2 times a week but we have now stepped that up to 4 times a week. 4:Staff are not allowed at work if they are sick and we ask the same of anyone coming to our venue. All rescheduling fees are waived during this time period. Please help us keep our staff and their families safe. If you have a fever, a cough or even a scratchy throat, please consider rescheduling your game. 5: If you would like gloves when playing, we have them at the front desk upon request. 6: We will be installing touch-free soap dispensers in our bathroom shortly. Our goal is to allow families and friends to take their minds off this horrible situation for as long as we can while doing our part to make sure everyone stays safe and healthy. If we all work together, we will get through this stronger! Thank you for understanding and working with us during this time. Jen Galli General Manager Escape Sacramento, LLC
