ERCI has developed a comprehensive Parametric model for assisting financial professionals and planners in developing appropriate cost estimates for the processing and disposal of dredged materials. This can be used for planning and budgetary purposes, for communicating with appropriate stakeholders, and for providing guidance to senior management. The multi-variable financial model is capable of incorporating cost estimates for a single site or a portfolio of sites, while allowing for individual site specifications by providing cumulative costs over the remediation period. It permits "what if" scenarios and provides both numerical and graphical depictions of the cost estimates.

Site Strategic Map We assist in the creation of ASTM-compliant models of exposure pathways and receptors that characterize the pre- and post-remedial risks and that lead to the optimal solution. All relevant risks are identified and quantified in our analysis. We complete the Site Strategic Plan with a detailed financial analysis, testing for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. We utilize our proprietary Defender software to assist in the financial analysis and in the ultimate selection of a remediation alternative.

Portfolio Defender aggregates the data from Remedy Defender files in order to provide a comprehensive and all-inclusive, "rolled-up" view of environmental liabilities. This includes customized reports used to manage an entire portfolio of sites, as well as optional workflow documentation and business planning calendars. Furthermore, we provide quarterly archiving and assurance reviews to preserve the audit trail and to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Finally, we provide orientation and training to relevant client staff, contractors, and auditors to guarantee optimal use of Portfolio Defender.

Remedy Defender is designed to enable the efficient and accurate pricing and management of environmental liabilities. It allows for probabilistic cost estimating, reserve forecasting, decision analysis, and peer review on single sites as well as subportfolios of sites.
