Unconditional love does wonders
What's the best way to catch a horse at pasture?
It takes a special head to fit a horse helmet..
"Bluebelle Panee" is another horse in URGENT need of placement. Bluebelle was one of 15 Thoroughbreds seized from a hoarder/neglect case in Riverside County. U...nfortunately, Animal Control is only set up to house the horses, and keep them fed, but not to keep them exercised, nor deal with shoeing needs. Bluebelle is not doing well in this environment and needs out, fast. Bluebelle needs a Thoroughbred-experienced home where she can get regular exercise, once she has seen a farrier and vet. Stands around 16/16.1 hh. She is unraced, and her pedigree is here: http://www.pedigreequery.com/index.php Bluebelle is located at Riverside County Animal Control in Riverside, CA. If interested in adopting Bluebelle, please call Donna Caplan ASAP at 951-905-3011

If interested in adopting Diamante, please fill out our application at www.auctionhorsesrescue.com
When I am an old horsewoman I shall wear turquoise ...and diamonds, And a straw hat that doesn’t suit me And I shall spend my social security on White wine and ...carrots, And sit in my alleyway of my barn And listen to my horses breathe. I will sneak out in the middle of a summer night And ride the old bay gelding, Across the moonstruck meadow If my old bones will allow And when people come to call, I will smile and nod As I walk past the gardens to the barn And show instead the flowers growing Inside stalls fresh-lined with straw. I will shovel and sweat and wear hay in my hair As if it were a jewel And I will be an embarrassment to all Who will not yet have found the peace in being free To have a horse as a best friend A friend who waits at midnight hour With muzzle and nicker and patient eyes For the kind of woman I will be When I am old. - Author Unknown See more
