Phoenix Vaulting Club and Equestrians In Harmony hosted their first ever live judged virtual competition on Friday July 3rd. They vaulted at their home base in Orland, CA, United States while Alejandra Orozco judged 1700 miles away in her home in Zapopan, JAL, Mexico. It was a great day! Kristin, Megan, Josie, and Malyha also made positive messages to share from our vaulting family to all of your families along with a performance celebrating vaulting and living to Rascal Flatts song My Wish! We hope the lyrics and messages bring you peace, happiness, and inspiration!!!

We played with doing a modified version of the Flow Variation One on Shamus today. Excellent work pushing yourselves to new limits and trying new moves on the horse today; Josie, Emme, and Aileen!! Happy Birthday to our Diamond Duchess!! Duchess turned one today! For fun we measured her height with a level and height/weight tape and she came in around 14.1 hands. She’s gonna be big (Adagio is the 17h warm blood in the background of the video). Hopefully she will love being a vaulting pony for our team in the future

You can also play with a crow forward roll

Start playing with going in and out of the CROW position until you feel comfortable and in control. Then you can try to start holding it for 5-10 seconds; and then 30 seconds building up all the way to 1-2 minutes if you want to work on endurance.
