About the Easter anthem, "Ye choirs of new Jerusalem" This anthem is a collaboration of members of five choirs, headed up by the choirs of the Church of the Epiphany. It will be heard on Easter Sunday in all five churches that participated in the recording. My successor at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Aaron Goen, asked if he could coordinate the participation of his choir at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Burke, Virginia, along with the choirs of The Falls Church Episcopal ...Church, Falls Church, Virginia; St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Arlington, Virginia; and St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Arlington, Virginia. Aaron is on the staff of the National Cathedral School for Girls, and was, therefore, able to record the accompaniment on the organ at Washington National Cathedral. All who participated wanted to offer their congregations a truly special anthem to celebrate the Feast of the Resurrection.
