While road riding, you get to see some pretty unique sights. We love this garden art along the Browns Valley / Hazel Dell route! This 29-mile road ride from our Aptos store is a veritable tour of bucolic Corralitos a small rural town known for its wineries, farms, and infamous Corralitos Market & Sausage Company. Enjoy beautiful views, a lovely mix of sunshine and shade, moderate ascents and flowy downhills. Looks like some beautiful weather ahead, so get out there... as soon as you can! Heads up everyone! All trails in Wilder Ranch State Park (except those on the ocean side of Highway 1) are currently closed due to the heavy rainfall this past ...weekend. Please respect these closures! The trails need at least 24 hours to absorb the recent moisture. We'd also like to remind everyone that with the recent controlled burns in Wilder, it's more important than ever to stay on the designated trails and fire roads (like the rider pictured) when trails are open. Unlike these burnt areas, modern trails are designed to divert water off the trail. Riding in burnt areas causes significant erosion during rain events and harms future trail development plans. By following access guidelines and only riding on designated trails, you're helping MBOSC maintain a strong partnership with local land managers and as we expand legal recreation across the county. : Josh Becker

The Slow Streets news got better not only are Slow Streets being set up within the Santa Cruz city limits, but the County recently approved an application process for a county-wide program! Funding for necessary materials and staffing is being provided by Bike Santa Cruz County through a financial grant from the Santa Cruz County Regional Transportation Commission (RTC).
