Ecoclean Services is looking for 3-4 volunteers to sweep and pick-up trash at 7am on Saturday, September 29th in the alley between Newport Avenue and Santa Moni...ca, from Bacon to the beach. Please PM me for more details. Marc Cortazzo, owner of Ecoclean Services has decided he would like to voluntarily power wash this alley in efforts to help keep OB clean. After the summer visitors and SD homeless issue, this particular alley, being one of the busiest in OB, could use some HELP! A HUGE THANK YOU to the manager's at Hodad's, Sunshine Co. and Smalls Properties for kindly giving us permission to use their water sources to get the job done! We will use our pressure washing equipment with some HOT steam, and where needed, natural orange oil to clean up the grease, gunk and grim off the alley street and walls for some much overdue TLC We will reclaim the dirty water in our dirty water tank and dispose in the sewer drain so it does not flow into our storm drains, ocean or streets, as we always do. This should take about 4 hours so we hope not to disturb anyone too much that day. Thank you all for your support in allowing us to help keep OB clean! As a thank you to those who come out to help Ecoclean will be buying the volunteers lunch at Hodad's!
