Entrepreneur Club of West Valley College

Some members from the Entrepreneur Club attended the LAUNCH startup event at Berkeley! We would like to congratulate: Innovein, Butterfly Medical, Dost, Players' Lounge, Solfox, and LiftEd and also a special thanks to Susan Giesecke for the invitation as well as a special tour of the Saturdja Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology.

We fundraised and had a lot of fun today at spring fling. It was a great experience for our club and an awesome opportunity to network with others.

Goodbye spring break, hello school...

The best time to invest is now! We hosted a top-notch speaker who is also an amazing professor here at West Valley College. Dr. Sam Liu, Ph.D. gave an extremely informative presentation on how to retire rich. We had an excellent turnout of 100+ people. The students were able to learn about the importance of starting their retirement fund early and the power of compounding interest.

Today, several members of the Entrepreneur Club participated in the final project that the wonderful Danish students presented. We acted as mock venture capitalists in their business proposal presentations, offering them feedback and asking questions about their products.

The Entrepreneur Club is pleased to announce that we will be hosting Sam Liu, Ph.D. who will be giving a presentation on HOW TO RETIRE RICH. This event will be happening this Thursday in FOX building room 107. It starts at 2:30PM and ends at 4:00PM. You will not want to miss this and we look forward to seeing you there!
