Are you the transmitter, the receiver or the frequency in which to plug into?

That was fast! I think discussion is necessary and for all ages. Many adults do not have the know how to civilly communicate a difference in views. They are locked into their beliefs so much that they hate and assume the worst from anyone that threatens their belief system. This is where we can help eachother out and point out areas that are perhaps blinded by a persons beliefs system and do so gently. Why do I say gently? Because hate and disrespect thrown back in the face o...f someone that is close minded doesn’t change that person’s mind or open their heart, it only creates more disrespect, division and hate. Be thoughtful in your conversations, be diligent in letting go of your ego (when they stab with their words and accusations you have to ignore that and remember they are not shining a light on the heart of the matter but are blinded by their beliefs) and try and find a way to reach the person. Of course some times you have to walk away to avoid violence and sometimes you will not get through, but if you are wise, calm, and open-minded, there’s more of a chance to reach someone and help them open their heart. If you do not attack their ego and give them something to contemplate instead, maybe, just maybe there is a way to connect to their humanity and true nature, before their experiences, belief systems and biases took over. Great message for today; plug into your strengths and do not use labels from keeping you back from holding your space as a leader.
