Cloudy skies and short days have you longing for warmer weather and sun? These brightly colored Sangria goat milk soaps are like little pieces of summer! Sangria is one of our favorites, and many of our customers describe this as a "happy smell". Pair this with a raspberry lip balm or matching sangria lotion for a great gift!

With the recent rains we've had, our hills are starting to get a hint of green- the inspiration for these sunny Lemon Verbena goat milk soaps. The fun thing with these soaps is that the appearance of the suns changes as you use them!

It's that time of year, when the weather is changing and everyone's lips need a little extra love. We use beeswax gathered from our apiary and filter it with a solar melter, then combine with organic shea butter, plant waxes, castor oil, Vitamin E, and rich borage oil to pamper and moisturize lips. Customer CH writes: "Within less than a week, this lip balm has actually improved the condition of my lips, in addition to providing immediate comfort when severely chapped. While you don't need to constantly reapply to keep your lips soft, the great flavor might keep you reaching for more!" We have several flavors to please everyone, and unflavored for those who prefer plain balms.

We've been excited to see that our narrow leaf milk weed has been a success story! This variety is native to the farm, and is the food source for Monarch Butterfly caterpillars. Monarch Butterflies are facing many pressures, from habitat loss to the spraying of milkweed with herbicides, so we are trying to help out where we can. We counted ten caterpillars on one of our plantings! Milk weed seeds have been collected and I hope to have many plants available for sale in the spring.

The two "super moons" we've gotten to enjoy this summer helped inspire this latest design for our Moonlight Path scented goat milk soap. I like how some of the soaps look like the moon is rising over our local mountains, and some look more like the desert buttes of the Southwest. Moon light path is a slightly musky floral, great for those who like their floral smells a little on the more subtle side.

We're more than just soap around here- we've got a whole farm full of treats! While we are taking a break from vegetable production this year, our organic red grape vines are finally producing their first crop.

A new look for one of our popular scents! It's Spring Rain, a fresh, invigorating smell equally popular with the ladies and the menfolk done up in shades of blue and green.

Introducing Beach Party Goatmilk soap- a luscious combination of Pinapple Sunrise and Coconut for summer enjoyment! This was inspired by one of my favorite snorkel locations, a black lava beach in Maui with blue, purple, and white shells, and pink plumeria trees nearby. The purple swirl got a little lost, but I love the look of black soap, and the spheres are all hand rolled soap balls, so as you use the bar, the design changes. These are bit bigger than our normal bars- five to over seven ounces, and each one is different!

What better scent to go with the warm summer temperatures than our new Pineapple Sunset Goatmilk soap? Juicy and refreshing, this tropical bar includes a bottom layer of apricot kernal exfoliator to help keep those feet sandal-ready!

We'll be participating at this event on June 7, and are really excited by all of the other vendors who will be coming as well. Soul Food is a gorgeous farm in Pleasants Valley, and run by one of my favorite Solano county farmers. Come on out and see us there!

We're in Rio Vista today, participating in a fund raiser for Meals on Wheels and selling our skin care goodies. Here is our additional donation to the raffle table- one of our new gift boxes which includes a sampling of our goat milk soaps and our beeswax products.

The lilac bushes on our farm are leafing out now and will be blooming soon, and here are some cheerful spring colored lilac soaps that smell just like the real thing! The swirl is four colors- plain, pink, lilac, and purple.

One of our most popular fragrances which has been with us since the beginning, Coconut Lime Verbena, dressed up in a dark green swirl, or in a green/uncolored split. I was learning to use a new cutter with the green/plain bars, so they have a bit of a rustic farm look to them. They are also available in uncolored bars for those who like their soap super simple.

It was starting to look like I had a case of "the blues" while making soap, but I use other colors too! Here's bars of Spicy Lime in a few different styles. I love how bright, clean, and fresh this smells, and since it is one of our "gender neutral" smells, I decided to go a bit simpler on the designs.
