Honoring all veterans today, with a special honor to Richard Grantham. He enlisted in the Navy at 17 years old to fight in WWII. He earned a purple heart when he survived a kamikaze attack on the USS DuPage. He carried radio equipment through a battle zone, and was present at the atom bomb tests at Bikini Atoll. By the time he was 21, he had seen more than any of us will in their lifetime. At 94 years old, we treasure every day we have with him. Thank you for your service, Grandpa.

Wildfire Update: Evacuation orders lifted in all areas except 4 streets in city limits of Pismo Beach. Those 4 streets, Barcelona, Costa Rica, Costa Brava, and Costa del Sol are expected to be lifted around 10:00 PM. Cal Fire is going to remain overnight & monitor the situation.
