These custom knurled slotted thumb screws were manufactured at 5,000 pieces using low carbon steel material with zinc clear finish. 6-32 thread was incorporated at .375" length underneath the head. Knurled head diameter was set to .313" and head height to .188". The slotted drive was .035" +/-.005" deep and .045" +/-.005" wide.

These custom 4340 alloy steel dowel pins were produced domestically at a bit over 3,000 pieces for an aerospace application. The raw material was to be per AMS 6414 or AMS 6409 and the pins measure .1179 +0.0000/-.0004 by .400 +/- .0030. Full certs were provided with the material, including material certs, certificate of conformance, and a FAIR. Parts were released over a 12 month period using a blanket purchase order agreement.

These custom grade 8 T-bolts were produced for an agricultural equipment application using SAE J429 material to Grade 8 specifications, finished with a black oxide process. An existing sample was used to recreate the design and tooling for the head shape. 3/8-20 unorthodox thread pitch was rolled at thread length of .8" minimum. Overall length of the part was set at 1.212" +/-.01" and the max head diameter reached .757" +/-.01". Full certs were provided with the parts.

These custom painted self piercing crimp screws were manufactured in Taiwan with a self crimping serrated washer head feature ideal for thin sheet metal applications. The exposed washer and head surfaces were painted to match our customer provided samples after going through a cleaning process to remove any excess oil or wax. Lead time for most sizes with painted head is 3-4 weeks from order. Self drilling variation is also available upon request.

We had 10,000 pieces of each size of these custom stainless steel fully threaded lag screws supplied to our construction customer. 304 stainless steel material was used and the parts were manufactured to ASME B18.2.1 other than the full thread feature requirement. Tensile strength was required to surpass the minimum 90,000 psi requirement and both the material composition and the tensile strength (axial) were tested at a third party lab with full certs. The two sizes pictured here are the 3/8-7 X 4" and 3/8-7 X 5.5". The finish on both sizes is Geomet 321 with Plus L top coat.
