*MVA- Commercial Vehicle Rollover* Newcastle Firefighters with automatic aid from Auburn City Fire responded to a commercial vehicle rollover in the Area of Quail Hill Drive and Glenview Road. AMR transported one patient to an area trauma center and crews were able to quickly mitigate the environmental hazard from fuel and other engine contents leaking from the overturned vehicle. CHP is investigating the incident and traffic may be disrupted until the vehicle is removed from the roadway.

*MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT* An augmented vehicle accident response from Newcastle fire, Penryn Fire and Auburn City Fire Department responded to Highway 193 between Old State Highway and Skyview Drive. Engine 41 arrived on scene and reported a single vehicle off of the roadway with moderate damage and a physical extrication required. The solo occupant was transported by AMR to a local hospital with minor injuries after a nearly 45 minute extrication by on scene resources. CHP is investigating the incident, all roadway restrictions have been lifted.

*VEHICLE ACCIDENT WITH EXTRICATION* Newcastle Fire received mutual aid assistance for a major injury accident on Auburn Folsom Road near Long Valley Drive. Auburn City Fire Engine 1284, 1285 and Rescue 1252 along with South Placer Fire Battalion 19 and Truck 17 responded to provide assistance while Engine 41 was committed to another assignment. South Placer Fire Medic 20 responded and was first on scene, this incident occurred in Newcastle Fire’s jurisdiction, but within Sout...h Placer Fire’s Ambulance Response zone. Medic 20 reported one vehicle off the roadway into a tree with major damage. Battalion 84 arrived and assumed command, all other fire resources arrived on scene and assisted with a technical physical extrication and provided Advanced Life Support medical services. The solo occupant was transported by Medic 20 to a local trauma center. The incident is under investigation by CHP and PCSO assisted with scene safety and traffic control.

*VEHICLE FIRE* Quick work by E-41 extinguished a passenger vehicle fire at the Newcastle park-n-ride on Newcastle Road x Indian Hill Road. There were no injuries reported and no roadway restrictions are in place. The fire was extinguished within 6 minutes of E-41’s dispatch to the incident.
