Attention Sutter County Residents: We had three active fires in south Sutter County, one that has forced evacuations. All evacuations have been lifted at this t...ime. Please follow the Sutter County Fire Department page for more details. At this time, all evacuations have been lifted, but please be vigilant in monitoring the Sutter County Fire Department’s page, as well as, our Sutter County Sheriff’s Office page. Please be prepared if other evacuations are in needed. Have clothes packed, important documents packed, water, food, pets ready and any other important items that can be taken quickly if needed. There are still fire personnel, as well as, other public safety officials in the area of the following fires, so please avoid these areas. 1. Bear River Drive on both sides of the river 2. Fifield Road in Pleasant Grove 3. Catlett Road West from Hwy 99 to Pleasant Grove Road 4. Pleasant Grove Road south to Sankey Road 5. Sankey Road to Hwy 99

Pleasant Grove and East Nicolaus Fire will be out at our local schools this week, talking to your kiddos about basic fire safety, making an escape plan and checking your smoke detectors. This is a great time to sit down as a family and update or make an escape plan so everyone knows what to do in an emergency.
