I wish you all the happiest of New Years. I know 2020 for some was a pile of kaka poopoo on top of more kaka I choose to belive 2021 will be a better year. I am optimistic that things will always workout the way they are supposed to. I have more faith in myself and more faith in the universe because of how my 2020 turned out. I know it was tough. I know we are still dealing with it, but I choose to focus on the good that this year showed me. ... I'm grateful for my awesome hubby and crazy family! I am so grateful for my #fitnessfamily and tribe of awesome clients. Im soooo grateful that my business is standing and chugging along strong and kept me going! I'm grateful for my small yet mighty followers. Let's kick 2021 in the butt!

Its that time of year where everyone is talking about setting goals. Write it down, visualize, be it... yet no one ever talks about how to actually reach these goals. Setting goals won't deliver new results, if you haven't built the new habits it takes to get you there. New habits take consistency, commitment and time. You have to start simple. Don't try to completely change your life in one day. It will get overwhelming. Start with small steps and build on that. Want to ge...t in shape? Start with a 20 minute walk. Then over the weeks/months add time, speed, intensity. Make it daily. Consistency will be the most IMPORTANT factor with anything in life. If you want to start exercising you have to do it everyday. Activities you do once every few days are trickier to lock in as habits. Write it down. Writing makes your ideas more focused and come to life. Your goals and end result is so clear when written on a piece of paper. This should be done everyday! Do it for yourself. Don't worry what you should be doing rather focus on the small habits that will ultimately get you to your goals. You are worth it! #goalgetter

The Dalai Lama said: "One small positive thought in the morning can change your whole day." How powerful is that? To think it can be that simple to shift and change your perspective, therefore change your whole day. That's amazing!! How can you take steps towards a more positive existence? Here are some changes to start with. First, identify what you want to change and why. The why is the key here!... Then get rid of negativity. This is easier said than done, but it is doable. Keep at it. Next, the best one by far is to exercise MORE often. Yes, I said it. One of the best tools to happiness and positivity is regular exercise and movement of the body. Be ready to collaborate and build a supportive network of likeminded people. This will help you identify the next phase which is to eliminate the non-essentials. The only things to consider now is whats important in your life and your health and growth! #happywednesday

Getting it in and doing the work. After working together for a few months Joe is making killer progress. We worked through weeks and months of pain management first. Now, he is almost pain free and hitting some awesome #strengthgains each session. I am so proud and can't wait to see what he will lift off the ground with each new month!

Happy #halloween everyone. I know this year's "holidays" don't feel quite right with everything thats going on. But we sure can take the time to appreciate this day for what it is. So proud of my gals for sticking with their #smallgrouptraining sessions consistently for the last few months. minus the lockdowns of course. Now, they have gained such strength that we are finally getting in all the big lifts. In the next few weeks you will see them lift over the body weight and move towards double their body weight. This is STRENGTH training. Fitness and strength take time, patience and most importantly consistency. You want to do it right the first time a...nd then rinse and repeat until you are an expert at the movement. Learning to lift in this manner (in a small group setting) allows you to perfect your form and technique because you have a coach. Your coach will motivate you, keep you moving and make sure you get in that final push with every rep! Check out their #hipthrusts this is just the beginning for these awesome clients.
