Great Leadership Class today! Chief Brooks of the Antioch Police Department joined our class today to talk to our students about how he got into police work, and he willingly answered many of their questions. Our students in grades K-3 enjoyed their Primary Share Class today. We listened to the story, The Greedy Triangle, talked about how many sides and corners many shapes have, and then drew some Shape Animals. #AUSDStudentsRock

Next week is Spring Break, but our wonderful Nutrition Services Department will still be working hard to ensure no children in our community go hungry. Please see below for schedule and pick-up loctions. #WeAreAUSD

Our students were treated to a Mobile Dairy Farm Virtual Field Trip today. We learned about the anatomy of a cow, the process of milking cows, how milk gets from the dairy farm to schools, how dairy is an important food group, and much more! What a treat!

Our Encore students were treated to two virtual field trips put on by Black Diamond Mines Regional Preserve. One was focused on Animals and their Habitats. We got to meet a 15 year old gopher snake who lives in the visitor center. The other field trip was focused on the history of the working coal and sandstone mines located there. Our students (and teachers) really enjoyed it! Ranger Virginia did a fabulous job!
