I was tired of looking at the cracked bondo on my suburban tailgate. I got the suburban from the original owner and he said it was repaired in the mid 80s when they backed into something. The rest of the suburban is in perfect condition. So after talking to @samcastronova at Dino’s a few months back about it I decided to fix it since it wasn’t original paint on the tailgate anyways and the bondo was cracking all over it. So I re-skinned it, that way I was able to keep the OG ...look on the inside of the tailgate. I took the skin from my bagged suburban because I’m going to be doing a custom one-off on the bagged one. Just wrapped up this #obs Tahoe. Cleaned up the fender lip on the rear and rolled the edge on them. The owner cut the tops of the tubs out because they were rubbing; So we re-made the tops of the front tubs to clean everything that way there are no more rubbing issues. Here’s a starlet update for you guys. We fit in the factory dashing around the cage to make sure everything was gonna work out right, we added some mill spec wiring plugs for the chassis harness behind the driver side fender and the motor harness plug behind the motor, we pocketed them back just enough so that they were going to clear everything with ease. Finished the pedal box for the Wilwood floor mount pedals and mounted the pedal reservoir. Remember @ra_juan_trevino Nissan cab? Well he brought us the parts truck for the rest of the parts we need to continue with the build. So we stripped it down and steamed cleaned it. The front clip was skinned out and ready to drop on the the cab. Made some progress on the Econoline. Finished up the rear corners, we welded up a few holes and shave the gas door on the back of the bed corner. The driver side ones are in the photos as it was the worst. Finally got the rest of the parts in to finish up the front suspension of the starlet, we are still planning on doing new lower arms and a bigger sway bar later. Check out that brake set up using @wilwooddiscbrakes 4 piston calipers or fit a 13 inch wheel. I’ve been running this @mittler_bros bead roller now for 12 years with the small motor. After about 2000 + panels that little motor was starting to wear out and was struggling on 18 gauge. So I finally gave in and bought the bigger motor, let me tell you I should’ve done that about 12 years ago lol. This thing just rips through 16 gauge now and all I have to do is finish my stand which I started 6 years ago. Lol.

I recently fixed this 1941 Indian motorcycle brass headlight and molding for it. The headline light had a few dent and some cracks at the mounting points. The molding was good until the polisher caught it in a polishing wheel and threw it across the room. It was crack and twisted up pretty good. Here is the new floor in the Econoline vruck. We opted to get rid of the entire floor even though it was only rusted in a few spots, sometimes this is easier. Plus the doghouse was for a in-line six and it doesn’t fit the v8 now, so we need to remake that too. Ben did a really good job on this floor. I helped him with the layout and he did all the bead rolling. We recently got this 83 blazer in for some rust repair. We cut out all the problems areas and cleaned and prepped that metal. We then covered it with a a self-etching primer and weld through primer everywhere we were welding. Our new guy @b.en.robinson is learning fast. He’s knocking out his first floor in the 62 econoline truck. The stock floor was not salvagable do too to much rust.
