As we once again are under attack by these horrid fires, we want to make sure that our undocumented friends and neighbors are reminded that shelters do not question immigration status and are a safe place to seek refuge if needed. Further, ICE will temporarily suspend routine immigration enforcement operations in the areas affected by the fires in Northern California, except in the event of a serious criminal presenting a public safety threat. So be safe out there, listen to ...evacuation orders, and go to the shelters if you need a safe place to rest and get supplies and food.
