The City of Bakersfield - Government and the Chamber have come together to provide COVID-related signage for Chamber members and other businesses and organizat...ions in Bakersfield. The pandemic has heightened our awareness of how important solidarity is to the vitality of our local economy. As we push to keep our economy open, we want to help local businesses communicate a consistent message to their customers. We have created a couple of vinyl window clings. One of the window clings encourages customers to wear a mask or face covering when entering a business. The second promotes social distancing. We offer them in both English and Spanish. We all look forward to a day when face coverings and social distancing are a distant memory. Recently the City of Bakersfield, the County of Kern, the Kern Economic Development Corporation, the Greater Bakersfield Chamber of Commerce and 15 private-sector partners embarked on an ambitious regional rebranding effort. Part of that effort was the development of a logo for a regional economic development initiative - "A Better Bakersfield & Boundless Kern: Regional Action for Economic Prosperity;" in short, "B3K Prosperity." eMedia helped create a logo for B3K Prosperity that reflects the initiative's primary objective, economic growth in Bakersfield and Kern County. The logo's "leaf" design represents growth while the three upward pointing arrows represent the rising trend of an economic chart. Together they capture the targeted goals of B3K Prosperity.

Each new school year the Bakersfield Homeless Center appeals to the community for support for homeless children who will need school supplies, after school programs and even a safe place to live and study. This year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the need was even greater as BHC reconfigured their on-site educational programs for a distance learning environment. Colorful mailers and web graphics helped BHC reach out to local donors for the support these children need.

If you know anything about Bakersfield history, you know car-culture is big thing here. So our logo design for West Costa Mobile Detailing had to go big, too! We think this graphic style reminiscent of the classic Pontiac Firebird is particularly appropriate.

The Shops at River Walk is the newest shopping, dining and entertainment destination in developer Castle & Cooke's master plan for Bakersfield's booming West Side. eMedia’s advertising master plan for The Shops at River Walk includes logo design, web design, print and seasonal outdoor and television spots. With over 50 unique shops, restaurants, boutiques and spas to work with, there was plenty of room for creativity!

Smoke 'em if you got 'em! 420 Kingdom, the first legally licensed cannabis delivery service in Kern County, chose eMedia Marketing to help deliver their message via eye-catching billboards and ear-catching radio spots. Who's king of the jungle now?!
