These are heroes and leaders fighting for black lives and centering women, gnc folks and black trans women specifically. #listentothewnba
Missing all of you and our lovely queer spaces As I stood out front I imagined beyond its façade and I thought about how I would describe the place to somebody who had never been, as if to ascribe it a history, to populate it with words: Maybe I would tell them about the infamous $2 Tecate cans. Or the supersize Chiquita lady. Or the BBQ grill offering up burgers. Or the janky urinals where the lowlives (like myself) cruise. Or the coveted little palm-tree-shaded nook in the back patio. Or the busted karaoke machine at the end of the bar. Or the tight-but-always-right-fit photobooth. Or all the queer bodies, of color, dancing, free. Or maybe I would describe to them that entrance and its Dutch door swinging open as if to say: Everyone Welcome. Your Dive.’
Tune in friends!!! My love Kofy Brown, and the other rollers renegades Vicki Randle, Katie Colpitts and Shelley Doty will be on at 5pm PST premiering their new video Black Lives as well as other videos from their recently released album.
#Repost @theunapologeticstreetseries BUY STAMPZZZZ Y’ALL! the USPS is far more important than we realize - it was never meant to be profitable it was meant to provide reliable and consistent mail services for all people - the USPS is not in the business of capitalizing off of mail services rather providing them. The current administration is set to destroy an already underfunded system. I urge and encourage you to find ways to support the USPS- buy stamps, send loved ones snail mail, check out the @uspostalservice online store for their awesome merch and if you can’t do that - spreading awareness and talking to your local reps and neighbors is just as important! this print is now free and available for download on my website under community resources.
