Did you have a chance to participate in Arts & Culture Thursday? Here's another chance! Some art supplies don’t have to be purchased from a store but can be found in your own backyard or neighborhood! Pick a dandelion from the grassy park, gather fallen leaves from a tree, find a feather or slim twigthese objects can all be used to make a nature collage. Items you will need: - Nature objects such as leaves , plants , flowers , rocks, or pebbles ... - Yarn or other accessories - Paper - Glue Instructions: 1. Collect your assortment of nature objects and sort them by type and shape. 2. Think of what type of collage you want to make. Put glue on a piece of paper and then place your nature object on top of the glue. 3. Add additional materials such as yarn to your collage. 4. Let your collage dry flat before picking it up or pieces will fall off. This will take a while. Take a picture of your collage and tag us on social media using @LACountyLibrary!
