IMPORTANT UPCOMING DATES THIS WEEK Last day to register for spring 2021 Majors division is this Thursday, March 11th Majors player assessments will be held on Friday, March, 12th. Check-in at 5:30pm... A player must be registered to attend player assessments. Friday, March 12th from 6:00pm - 7:00pm will be the very last uniform fitting for the spring 2021 season. A player must have been registered to attend the uniform fitting.

With the Spring 2021 underway and the softball fields are in much need of some TLC. We will be having a Field Maintenance and Cleanup Day for the upcoming Spring 2021 Season! Field maintenance is important to ensure a great start to the season. Some helpful tools to bring include: rakes, flat head shovels, leaf blowers, and garden hoes. Together, everyone can help create a beautiful, safe softball fields for our young athletes!... Elk Grove Thunder 10U A is holding tryouts for the 2021 season. This is a brand new team and EVERY position is open for competition. The 10 A staff philosophy is to have a great team with great kids who are willing to LEARN. The coaches are committed to TEACHING the sport of softball to our team members in a competitive, but family oriented atmosphere. Who are we looking for? Elk Grove Thunder 10U is gearing up for the Fall/Winter 2020 seasons. This team has a strong core of 2010 players and families. We are dedicated to bringing out your athlete’s potential, while enjoying the sport of Fastpitch softball. We have 3 open roster spots due to 3 ’09 players aging out of 10U. Our primary focus is adding a seasoned catcher to our roster. We are also seeking athletes that lead vocally and with their style of play. All positions open for competition ...and are completely merit based Elk Grove Girls Softball is one of the few organizations in the Sacramento area that currently has assigned fields and permits from CSD and is following all COVID protocols set forth by the State and County. This team will be focused on individual player growth, improving fundamental skillsets, and most importantly an expanded love for the sport of softball.
