Hyperion is the tallest tree in the world....and it's pretty close (within 10 miles) to the campground. Can't / won't tell you exactly where it is as it's kept a secret to prevent damage (by HUMANS).

Stay at the campground and head out to the beach to watch them!!

When someone tells you NOT to stop in front of the elk, believe them - it's not just because we want to be "mean"! They were lucky nothing happened to them.... and their back window was down..... they couldn't roll it up fast enough. Or, drive away fast enough!

Elk can be VERY DANGEROUS!! Be aware and STAY BACK!!! Don't crowd them ...... Don't get close!

WELCOME to our BRAND NEW elk babies from May 29, 2020! We have 5 so far and think there are 2 more stashed in the woods. Still think there are more to come!
