Our November produce highlight is Poblano Peppers! Poblano peppers originate from the beautiful state of Puebla in east-central Mexico. Puebla has made chile relleno a staple Mexican dish using the poblano pepper as the star ingredient. Chile relleno translates to stuffed pepper. Traditionally, Mexicans stuff the poblano peppers with Oaxacan cheese, dip the stuffed pepper in batter, fry it to perfection, and finally drizzle a tomato-based salsa!
