Already a great harvest of artichokes. I call these death chokes as the barbs are almost claw like and sharp as razors, but so tasty

Pollen traps. When you see the busy bee coming back to the hive after pollenating hundreds of plants, ready to unload its harvest to the colony, they land, they find a barrier on their hive, but alas an opening, they squeeze into the trap and into the hive. Ok, all the pollen on their stiky hairy legs is gone. Thus the magical pollen. Come get fresh Sunset Farm bee pollen at the Hayward Farmers Market every Saturday. Papa Joe and Family

Thanks - for supporting a new green spot in the Ashland / Cherryland Area. We have good momentum on many fronts to make take our community from a food desert into a food growing/eating oasis.
