From the Eco-Rapid Transit Chair and Huntington Park City Council Member Karina Macias: "It’s the unfortunate story of Huntington Park and the rest of Southeast Los Angeles. Given the short end of the stick on resources. We keep pushing all levels of authorities to provide us a site. However, we will continue to push. This map speaks volumes of who is being left behind. The same people that can’t get to vaccination sites miles away, the same communities being affected greatly by this pandemic, the same communities with essential workers where many can’t work from home. From the federal government to the county level, much better can be done. Equity can be done." This is why we all work together at Eco-Rapid Transit, so together, our voice is louder. If we were a city, we would be the 2nd largest city in California.

Eco-Rapid Transit board meets on Wednesday February 10th. Planning and programming subcommittee meets at 6pm. Full board meeting is at 630pm.

In honor of Veterans Day, the Eco-Rapid Transit board meeting originally scheduled for November 11th is canceled and is rescheduled for November 18th. 630pm via zoom.

In November, we will honor Veterans Day and will move our meeting date to the 3rd Wednesday of the month - November 18th at 630pm.
