During this heat wave it is important to keep your pets cool and comfortable!! We will be Doing the daily walks much earlier and late afternoon walks will be quick potty breaks with outside water play or inside play! Put some peanut butter or pumpkin in a Kong and freeze it A great cool afternoon snack for them! Tie a wet handkerchief around them when going outside and avoid asphalt at all cost! If it’s too hot for you on the back of your hand or barefoot it’s too hot for them!! Change the water bowl frequently or keep ice chips in it to stay cool. Dogs can get dehydration and heat stroke especially flat nosed dogs, so know the signs. Stay safe and cool!
