Season’s Greetings and may you all have a Bright New Year! Amid all the chaos and despair of this past year, we have so much to be thankful for - good health and a positive attitude has kept us going with energy from all our patients and the wonderfully supportive Dental & Medical community!

We value our patient’s and employee’s safety. In light of the current Lockdown, we remain an Essential Business and will continue seeing patients at East County Oral Surgery. We have been, and will continue to comply with CDC, CaDPH and Contra Costa Health Department guidelines with appropriate PPE and enhanced Infection Control Procedures. We are in San Jose today attending the Annual Meeting of The California Dental Society of Anesthesiology! Learning/Reviewing valuable information that will allow us to take better care of our patients. Anesthesia plays a big role in allaying the fears of our patients of all ages.

Honoring our Great Country’s Presidents today by giving our Team time to be with their Families.

Last Wednesday, we took time off from the office to engage in Continuing Education mandated by the Dental Board of California. Delta Study Club, managed by Drs. McDonal & Deloso, hosted over 110 Dental Professionals at Lone Tree Golf & Events Center in a whole day event! We learn as we enjoy each other’s company! Mr. Art Curley and Ms. Leslie Canham were very engaging and imparted much information that will help us take better care of our patients!

In compliance with Federal, State and County Health Agencies, along with guidelines from the American Dental Association, The California Dental Association, and the California Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, Drs. McDonald, Deloso, and Nguyen have rescheduled all Non-emergency Consultations, and Elective Oral Surgery Appointments. We are doing this also to protect our most valuable people - our patients, our OMS Team, and their families. We apologize to those wh...o have been waiting a while for this time, being Spring Break for Antioch, Oakley & Brentwood School Districts. We are still available to our Referring Doctors and patients who have Dental Emergencies that need to be treated right away. Examples of these are Severe Dental Trauma, Infections unresponsive to antibiotics and analgesics accompanied by facial swelling, difficulty swallowing, and fever. We hope and pray that this will all be under control soon. Please stay healthy - nourish & hydrate yourself well, take care of yourselves specially our elderly family members who are most at risk with this virus strain. Thank you for your understanding!
