With 2017 approaching, things can feel overwhelming and uncertain. I've opened a new office- you can now schedule appointments on Saturday afternoon, Monday afternoon, and Monday evening. Paid Speaker Panel at CSU East Bay for Trans Individuals I’ve been invited to facilitate a lecture and panel discussion at CSU East Bay. The audience is around 70 MSW graduate students and the topic is an introduction to trans identities and respectful behavior towards trans students. There is a small honorarium for participation, $20. I have a panel of gender-nonconforming speakers who have volunteered, but none of my current speakers identifies as a trans man or trans woma...n. While I’m delighted to have such a diverse and wonderful panel, I feel it would benefit the students to hear stories from as many trans identities as possible- so those who are socially and medically transitioning towards a more traditional female- or male-identified identity are invited to participate.
