The tongue coat is basically absent and kind of dry, indicating yin deficiency and perhaps dehydration. The yin could have been consumed by heart heat or the heart heat could've been generated from the yin deficiency. Yin is the cool, night time, feminine aspects of things. This is an opportunity for Black families who have had the support of a doula during their birth to share their experiences: My name is Suzanne Mungalez, and I am a Black clinical psychology doctorate student at the Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA. I am conducting dissertation research regarding the impacts of doula-assisted care on experiences of anti-Black racism during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum. Given the prevalence of anti-Black racism in United States healt...h care and perinatal care, my research seeks to understand the ways that working with a doula impacts these experiences. Participants will be asked to share their stories and experiences with me in a 1-2 hour long interview. All participants will have the opportunity to be connected to resources related to Black mental health and birthing communities and will be entered in a raffle to win a $50 VISA gift card. We've noticed a tre...nd with face covers containing one-way valves. While it is easier for the wearer to exhale, it is because there is essentially a hole in the face cover letting their breath and droplets out. These one-way valves allow potentially infected droplets to be spread through the valve and are ineffective for helping reduce the spread of COVID-19. A simple cloth face cover is highly effective and washable!
