Don't forget the Casino Night Fundraiser tomorrow from 5pm to 9pm at Legacy LA! There will be a dollar food menu, games, music, prizes and much more! Hope to see you all there! Remember money made here will help support our Skills USA students who will go off and compete on behalf of our school!

So here's what's going on this week at ELAOC: Tuesday, March 13th, the school board is set to make its decision that day so we're going to have another rally outside of campus at 12 noon. Be there or be square! Also, feel free to join the big rally outside of the Beaudry building at 1pm. Friday, March 16th, is our first ever Casino Night! Presale tickets are $10 for students and $15 for staff. Those who buy presale tickets are entered into a separate drawing, but you need to be at the event in order to win. If you wait to buy your tickets at the door, it will be $15 for students and $20 for staff and you won't be entered into the drawing. So make sure you buy your tickets on Friday.

Thank you all who participated today! Even though it was cold and windy, our support for a great and important cause kept us going. Tomorrow's the big day. For those of you who are interested, there will be a protest outside the Beaudry building (333 South Beaudry Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90017) starting at 3pm. No matter what tomorrow's outcome may be, we must continue to prove how important we are for the community.

Since the board is planning to make a decision the next day, we decided to have another rally tomorrow. The rally will start at 12 noon in front of the Administration Office with a speech and words of encouragement from our principal, Mr. Galvan. Please be there and show your support!

Support Adult Education!!!!

This is going to be a busy week at ELAOC! Please join us as we show our support for ELAOC and LAUSD's Adult Education programs on Wednesday, February 8th from 12pm to 1pm in front of the school. Let's make an impact and show how our programs help the community. After we show pride for our school, let's show or support for the students who were nominated by their teachers to be recognized at Student Recognition this Thursday, February 9th from 12pm to 1pm. Light refreshments will be served.

Hey everyone!!! Just wanted to let everyone in on the Halloween festivities that are going on at the ELAOC. We'll be kicking off our Halloween festivities on October 27th with a haunted mansion and Halloween Dance during the day and evening. The ghosts and ghouls in our haunted mansion will continue to scare students and staff on October 28th and 29th. Hope to see you guys there!!!
