President's Biden's dogs...can't stay in the White House. Now regardless of your political point of view, being separated from your pets suck. Before we get into this conversation from an insurance point of view...you know what I'm going to ask you? What are you grateful for? Find that one thing you are grateful for. Reach out, grab it, and bring it to your heart. Lean and rock with it. Maybe you are grateful you got home to a clean house, got out of those pantyhose, ate ...dinner made by the kids...and just relaxed. Maybe you are grateful you got $20 bucks left after paying your bills. You got a pack of roman noodles, celery, and a bottle of hot sauce... and you made you some and just chilled out. What are you grateful for? Post it in the comments. I'm grateful for taking the risk to add music and adding to the video. I'm grateful for the gas I bought in my car... and realizing that money is a circle of life. The gas I bought, contributes to that employee's salary - so that they can take care of their family. Give thanks for the flow of money!!! Now what happened with President's dog, it sucks. It's really sad that his dogs have to get back home. From an insurance point of view: 1. Workers Compensation - liability if the dog/cat bites an employee. Please check to see if your workers' comp covers that type of liability for your business. 2. Home/renter/condo/mobile/landlord insurance liability. If you don't let your insurance company know you have a dog / and some want to know about any and all pets - and something happens you may find yourself up a creek without a paddle. Yes, adding your dog/cat does cost more - but it's cheaper than that check you will have to write out of your pocket. 3. On a personal note. After my Grandmother passed away in 2012 - I tried to take her dog...but he didn't like my place. Yet, I got him pet insurance. It made a huge difference for the family. It took care of his vet visits /heartworm treatments / etc... saved us a lot of money. 4. If you take your dog with you in your car, then please call your auto insurance and see if your pet is covered in the event of a car accident. It's not always automatically included. You've got to ask. Yes, I admit I like pets and they are fur babies. And we must take care of them and not take for granted that others feel the same way as we do about them. Take care! Get ready... get ready. This pandemic did not help with future auto insurance rates. According to Consumer Reports article August 2020... page 55... it looks like some folks made it hard for all of us. I say us, because I pay for auto insurance as well... Can we get past 2020!!!
