11PM Wed. August 23 Univision's Francisco Ugalde ran a piece on an AWESOME production I was part of as a writter and Costume Designer. The first of it's kind during National LGBT Pride month the Latino LGBTQ Theatre Workshop and Festival, #EastsideQueerStories. Along with 13 other AWESOME writters, my play "Secreto De Amor" was produced. The highly successful 2 week run played to sold out audiences and garnered FANTASTIC reviews, support from many community leaders, includi...ng Councilmember Gilbert Cedillo / Gilbert Cedillo and we even won a HERO AWARD presented by Xavier Mejia. The co-production between CASA 0101 and Q-Youth Foundation was made successful by the hard work of a dedicated production and artistic team lead by two DYNAMIC FEARLESS INNOVATORS, Ana Bernal and Claudia Elizabeth Duran. Very special thanks to Josefina Lopez, Emmanue Deleage and Edward Padilla and all the staff at CASA 0101 for creating a space where stories and productions like this can happen!
