Lombard Street Did you know that Lombard Street was created the way it was to increase the safety of the street because the steep grade was thought to be too dangerous? All in all, we are glad that it was built for safety issues but it is also a great landmark of San Francisco and photos from the top or the bottom of Lombard Street are both equally beautiful!... Throwback of our famous landmark After five years of construction, our gorgeous Golden Gate Bridge was finished and many people celebrated on May 27th, 1937 - the opening day. It was said to have had around 200,000 people walking the bridge and it was also known to have been the longest bridge in the world until the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge in New York was built in 1964.... Who else would have loved to experience this historical day?

Can you guess where this place is? If you guessed 'The Palace Hotel' in downtown San Francisco, you're correct! This luxury hotel is known to be the oldest surviving hotel in San Francisco, being built in 1875. The infamous afternoon tea service in the Garden Court started in 1910 and is still popular today in many people's Instagram feed.... Upside down Christmas Tree? As if a normal Christmas Tree wasn’t enough, San Francisco’s Westfield mall displays their gigantic 50-foot Christmas tree that hangs upside-down. The tree is known to be covered in crystals that makes it look like a giant festive chandelier!
