And the scary movie is... ! Showing October 31st at 8pm at the California Theater Dunsmuir. Come on by the Hotel Dunsmuir for refreshments and Halloween entertainment before the movie.

July 17th Come on out for Hobo Film Night! 6 PM: LONG GONE (2003) Jack Cahill and David Eberhardt Over the course of almost seven years Long Gone follows the intertwined lives of several tramps - as they careen around the West encountering various up and downs in their lives. Over a briefer time span, the lives of several younger riders are also portrayed. A compelling documentary with original soundtrack by Tom Waits and additional music by Charlie Musselwhite.... 8 PM: RAIL KINGS (2005) Bobb "Santa Fe Bo" Hopkins (director and producer). Superchief Films. // A fictional murder-mystery set on the rails featuring a "spoiled trust fund baby" off to find the rail-riding killer of his parents. Short guest appearances by Ernest Borgnine and Roadhog USA. Many of the scenes in the film were shot in and around Dunsmuir--including in Roadhog's old apartment in the Dunsmuir Hotel, at Mossbrae Falls and other trackside locations.
