Successfully obtained back wages for restaurant employees for unpaid minimum wages, overtime, meal and rest periods, tip pooling, wage statements, show up time, and waiting time penalties. Successfully settled Construction Lawsuits, and a Commercial Equipment Lease Breach of Contract Action (all for nearly full value). Successfully Litigated and settled a Wrongful Death Case. Defended Employers in Wage and Hour Lawsuits. Defended an employer against Discrimination Investigations by the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEOC), Department of Labor, Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH) and Federal Department of Justice (DOJ). Defended an employer in a Union Grievance Arbitration in Las Vegas. Completed the Purchases of a garment manufacturer; automobile services; Restaurants and Bars; the Sale of a Dental Practice; and sale of a 1-800-Radiator Franchise Business. Previously sold 9 McDonald's Restaurants. Formed numerous Corporations and Limited Liability Companies in California and Nevada; transferred stocks; maintained corporate compliance requirements.
