Kern County has been placed back on the list for quarantine. What does this mean for us at Discovery? We will gather online every Sunday at 9am for a live worship experience on Facebook | YouTube |Website. The service will be available On Demand for the rest of the day.... We will have a special Outdoor Baptism event this Sunday, 11am at the Southwest campus parking lot. However, DY Oasis will be postponed indefinitely. Discovery Kids will be streaming on YouTube every Sunday and adding more exciting weekly content for your kids! Family Aligned a night of worship, will be live streamed on Facebook | YouTube this Wednesday at 6:30pm. There will be Live Hosts, a special Parent Coach, Worship, Giveaways & a Powerful Message from Pastor Jason. Dream Center Outreaches on 2nd & 4th Saturdays are still going strong and are needed more than ever. This Saturday will be at our Southwest Campus location from 9am 11am. As you may already be aware, earlier this week the California State Governor re-instituted a quarantine order for a large portion of the state that requires all businesses and persons deemed "non-essential" to stay at home. This order includes houses of worship. For now Kern county is not on the list of closures and as long as we're allowed, we will gather. You can register today for this Sunday's campus and service times here. https://www.ilovediscovery.church/events/ ... However, there is a good chance that Kern County will be added to the list in the next few days. If and when this happens, we have a plan in place. We will continue to gather online through our website, Facebook & YouTube. We will continue to build community through our Discovery Groups through Zoom and Facebook groups. We will continue to love our community through our 2nd & 4th Saturday outreaches and our continual presence at the Dream Center. We will still be One church, Many locations. One house, Many rooms.
