Merry Christmas!

"Before coming to Vision Therapy, my son Daniel had numerous problems at school. He was a very slow reader and had great difficulty copying from the board. Going into 5th grade was a challenge. He now had more reading to do and an assignment book to copy assignments from the board. He was unable to complete his book on a daily basis and his teacher had to complete it for him. By the end of the first week of school, he was very frustrated. Since completing Vision Therapy, he i...s now reading faster and can complete his assignment book on his own. I would highly recommend Vision Therapy to all parents who have a child struggling in school. This therapy can make school easier and they may even begin to look forward to going." https://www.optometrists.org//vision-therapy-for-slow-lea/

"Vision Therapy is a behavioral approach to correcting various eye problems that affect one's ability to receive and process visual information. A person may have "perfect" vision while reading an eye chart, pass a vision screening by reading 20/20, and still have developmental vision problems. The areas most often affected are focusing, eye teaming, eye movements and visual processing. Vision Therapy is an individualized treatment program designed to improve and sometimes el...iminate conditions such as lazy eye (amblyopia), crossed eyes (strabismus), focusing insufficiency and excess, ocular muscle dysfunction, and learning-related vision disorders. Specialized lenses, filters, prisms and instruments are used in a training program, which is customized for each patient. Vision Therapy is a sub-specialty of Optometry and only 5-10% of optometrists provide Vision Therapy." https://www.fivepointseyecare.com//what-conditions-can-vi/

"If you have an eye exam and are told you have 20/20 vision, does this mean you have perfect eyesight? Is it possible to achieve even better than 20/20 vision? And what is "perfect vision" anyway?" We know that 20/20 vision isn't enough! Vision Therapy can help! https://www.allaboutvision.com/eye-exam/2020-vision.htm
