7 tips to losing weight: 1. Define success based on your own views (not someone else's) 2. Set your goals based on what your new definition of success is. 3. Deligate and do less (you can't do everything, its okay to ask for help) 4. Workout smarter not harder (if not getting to your goal, working out harder and longer may not give you the results you want)--try HIIT... 5. Include flexability training (avoid injury and reduce stress, try yoga) 6. Take a close look at your diet. Count calories. (If already on strict calorie count you may not be eating enough. Could cause your metabolism to slow) 7. Reduce stress/get more sleep. (If you are under a lot of stress your body will try to protect you by increasing stress hormones that will cause to you gain more abdominal fat). I love this app! We live very stressful lives. The wife and I have been using this app to meditate on a daily basis. Since we started I noticed improved sleep, more deep sleep (I monitor nightly on my Apple Watch), and feel reduced stress despite more going on in life at this time. Link between eating processed foods and cancer. Learn to eat REAL food. Avoid processed foods. When you walk into a grocery store, walk along the around (along the wall) and eat those foods. Stay away from the middle. More real food, less box, bag, can foods. "The results show that a 10% increase in the proportion of ultraprocessed foods in the diet was associated with increases of 12% in the risk of overall cancer and 11% in the risk of breast cancer".
