We are proud to introduce our newest doctor to the Rabitz Team: Dr Helen! Dr. Helen is a board certified pediatric dentist and clinical director at theUniversity of California, San Francisco (UCSF). She specializes in dental desensitization, and is the head of a program that she founded at UCSF for kids with neurodevelopmental disorders (including autism spectrum disorder). Dr. Helen received her bachelor’s degree from Cornell University in both biology and psychology, and ...earned a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Pennsylvania. She went on tospecialize in Pediatric Dentistry andobtain a Master of Science at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). She is currently active in the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, bringing her expertise to the communications and continuing education committees. Because of her clinical specialty in behavior management, Dr. Helen approaches each individual child by considering them as a whole their development, behavior, emotional status, and family’s needs beyond the teeth. She strives to treat every patient like she would her own children, and to treat each family with the utmost compassion. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Helen enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and their golden doodle. Together, they love exploring the Bay Area. Please join us in welcoming Dr. Helen into our practice!
