Smartlipo laser-assisted liposuction of young male who had a fat pouch of the lower and mid abdomen, resistant to healthy eating and exercise. This is what I call stubborn, sticky fat! This fat is commonly very fibrous, especially in men and is difficult to suction without using laser-assistance with Smartlipo. Smartlipo laser liposuction is a special customized technique I use to melt, liquify and prepare the fat for suction. The laser also coagulates the blood vessels s...o there is less bleeding and bruising in my experience of over 12 years using this powerful laser technique. I have published scientific papers in the Journal of Lasers in Surgery and Medicine on Smartlipo and SculpSure. SculpSure is a 25-minute, nonsurgical, laser and light-based fat reduction office-based treatment for fat reduction. In April 2019, I published a paper in The Journal of Lasers in Surgery and Medicine demonstrating the efficacy of SculpSure treatments to treat the surface irregularities that can result from patients who had liposuction even years ago, smoothing the soft tissue and skin, improving the outcome. My practice offers options for both surgical treatment and non- surgical treatment of fatty contour deformities such as belly fat, muffin top, love handles, saddle bags, bra fat and bat wings.
