Save the Movie One of the most important keys to a perfectly beautiful and natural smile is to be able to copy nature in all of its detail when creating any dental repair or makeover. The two fractured teeth were restored with handcrafted artistically fabricated porcelain veneers. The communication between patient dentist and laboratory ceramist must be precis...e. I drew out essential details in addition to high-resolution photography to provide the architectural blueprints for the two veneers. Keeping someone’s individual unique persona and character is essential when appreciating the beauty of human variation. This is especially true as during a movie the actor or actress must maintain continuity of their look. Not all beautiful smiles are perfectly white and even. As a matter fact, if they look too perfect or too mathematically even, they then look so unnatural and can be spotted a mile away. To me this is an aesthetic failure and seen all too often in before and after’s in social media cases. The key for a natural beautiful smile is to find and create the perfect imperfections of nature. My personal studies in drawing and sculpting has helped me develop the eye for detail in nature.
