We still may be safer at home, but that doesn’t mean you need to put your dreams of parenthood on hold. We are seeing new patients via zoom and phone consults. Most importantly, we are starting fertility treatments again in a slow and controlled fashion in order to ensure the safety of both our patients and our staff.... Infertility is a disease and reproductive care is essential. Take charge of your reproductive needs now. #ivf #eggfreezing #fertility #fertilityjourney #fertilitywarrior #infertility

It’s time to raise awareness about the 1 in 8 couples struggling with infertility and all those couple struggling with pregnancy loss. Times are tough, we are tougher! #nationalinfertilityawarenessweek #niaw

For #niaw and #furbabyday I have to give props to my huge fur baby Bruce @brucebernedoodle who has been keeping me company on the days I am working from home seeing new patient consults on zoom and communicating with current patients via email and phone. He also happily welcomes me home after the days I am in the office. His companionship serves as a constant source of stress relief during these intense times. So if you hear a bark in the background, it’s this guy!

Still connecting with so many patients these days! New and current. Loving zoom! Gives me hope! So important, especially during this National Infertility Awareness Week! You are not forgotten.

The best doctors are always learning and open to hearing different opinions. @mbsthinks and I are listening in to the live Fertility Sterility international journal club discussing the use of pre-implantation genetic testing for aneuploidy (PGT-A). . It is fascinating to hear the different point of views about using this technology in different patient populations. . Enjoyed seeing Dr Paulson share his thoughts.... . This is such an important and complicated topic. So glad that studies like this one are being done to help us understand who this technology is best utilized for. See more

Another weekend at ASRM headquarters in Alabama! It was on honor and privilege to chair the first ever live patient education meeting. After years of teleconferences we felt it was time that we meet in person! . And why, you ask?... . Because we have so many new things we are doing! . We have added patient representation to the committee!! Cheers to our @resolveorg members like @ourmisconception and @rflick0904 . We are hoping our efforts lead to increased reach to patients with all the amazing patient centered materials that @americansocietyforreprodmed through this committee has already put together . This is my plug for all patients and reproductive health care providers to use the website www.reproductivefacts.org, as it’s an amazing resource. . I am so thankful for all the ASRM staff that worked so hard for our meeting this weekend to flow seamlessly! . And thankful for all the members of this committee who flew from all over the country to Alabama. We have doctors, nurses, mental health professionals, genetic counselors all represented. @drknockedup @elizabeth.pritts.md And so many more . . . . . #infertility #ivf #ttc #fertility #ttccommunity #ivfjourney #infertilitysucks #pcos #infertilityawareness #ttcjourney #ttcsisters #infertilitysupport #endometriosis #ivfsuccess #pregnancy #ivfsupport #infertilityjourney #miscarriage #ivfcommunity #ttcsupport #iui #fertilityjourney #love #infertilitywarrior #baby #icsi #ivfwarrior #family

Missed my mammogram in October due to the fire evacuation. Getting it done now! . Clean bill of health from LSG imaging. Love this practice as they have the latest technology (3D tomography) and they read the mammogram right away and will do an ultrasound at the same appointment (which I always need). . It’s always a good time to focus on breast health. Just ask my friend @kristifunk who wrote a book all about it. Check it out, Breasts. An Owners Manual.... . Kristi is a renowned breast surgeon, best selling author, role model, friend, momma to triplets, and a kick ass baseball/softball player! If you wanted a book to keep you informed about how you can reduce risk your risk of breast cancer, and what to do if you are faced with a cancer diagnosis, this is the one! . Do self breast exams! Get your mammogram when it’s your time! Consider genetic screening if your family history indicates! . I will leave the details of what you need to know to Kristi, so buy her book on amazon and get smart about what you can do to keep your breasts healthy. It’s truly a book for all women. And she is on insta too! . . . . . #breastcancerawareness #breastcancerawarenessmonth #breastcancer #breastcancersurvivor See more

Eric Stevens, a good friend of our nurse, Sarah, was recently diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s) at only 29 years old one month after his wedding day. . We, at @usc_fertility are helping support Eric’s fight to gain access to critical new therapies like NurOwn to help prolong life for ALS patients. Eric is asking for support by bringing awareness to this horrific disease so that Congress can try and create a new pathway for ALS so that all patients can have access to these cli...nical trials and treatments. . You see us with the #axeals sign because Eric is a Los Angeles County Fireman. . If you would like to learn more about Eric's journey and his fight to advocate for early access to drugs and treatments for patients, we invite you to follow one of the below accounts: Facebook: Team Stevens Nation Instagram: @teamstevensnation

Our dear friend, Mark Owens chaired the annual Signature Chef Auction last week to raise money for the March of Dimes. . Aaron and I are were thrilled to attend and contribute to this amazing cause. The evening was a smashing success raising $345,000! Congrats Mark! . March of Dimes funds and supports research to find solutions and make lifesaving breakthroughs for premature babies.... . They advocate for policies to prioritize the health of moms and babies . They offer resources and programs to help moms before, during, and after pregnancy. And work with providers and communities to ensure access to all women who need it. Especially assisting families when things don’t go according to plan. . As a fertility specialist that helps couples conceive through IVF, where premature birth is more common, I feel it is incredibly important to support the work of March of Dimes. Which is why I myself have been on this event committee to plan this fundraiser for the March of Dimes in the past. And why I was so happy to support them this year! . . . . . #ivfjourney #ivfsuccess #ivf #ivfcommunity #ivfpregnancy #ivfsupport #ivfwarrior #ivfmiracle #ivfjourney #ivfsurvivor #fertilitydoctor #fertilityjourney #fertilityawareness #infertilityawareness #iui #iuisuccess #iuijourney #ttc #miscarriage #fertility #infertility #workingmom #doctormom #momlife #obgyn #girlboss #healthy #medicine #marchofdimes @ SLS Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Beverly Hills

In the presence of greatness! . I am so grateful that at this years ASRM conference I have had the opportunity to meet and reconnect with leaders in our field. . In these pictures, I am with the past and current presidents of ESHRE (The European Fertility Society) and a past and now current president president of ASRM (The American Fertility Society).... . What do you notice? . Three of the four are #WOMEN! . The majority of ob/gyn trainees and Reproductive Endocrine Fellows in this country are women. While the leadership of our society as well as most other medical societies is made up by men. This is slowly changing. . I am proud that in a field dedicated to the care of women, that women are finally at the helm more consistently. . I see it at every level. I see it in the number of women on the ASRM practice committee and the number of female fellowship program directors. It’s amazing to go to these meetings and see that half or even more than half of the attendees are female. . That being said, we need more. We need more young women to get involved, just because what you see at the top may not look like you doesn’t mean it can’t be you. . . . . . #womenleaders #womenempowerment #womenleadership #womenlead #womeninpower #womenempoweringwomen #womeninspiringwomen @ Pennsylvania Convention Center - Philadelphia, PA (Philly) See more
