Our office has fortunately stayed open throughout the pandemic, providing eyecare for our military's essential workers and urgent eyecare for the general public. The California Department of Public Health has lifted all restrictions for general routine eyecare. WE ARE OPEN - SAFE AND READY TO SERVE ALL YOUR EYECARE NEEDS! Our number one priority is the safety of our staff and patients. We are doing everything possible to keep our office ...safe and healthy. Here are some protocols that have been implemented in our clinic to ensure your safety: Rescheduling any patients who have had a fever, upper respiratory tract infection, been in contact with someone that has had a fever or upper respiratory tract infection. The doctor and staff are subject to the same screening protocols, as well as daily temperature checks. All patients are asked to wear a mask, staff will be doing the same. All visits are by appointment only. This includes picking up glasses or contacts, eyeglass adjustments and ordering new products. Patients are asked to arrive to their appointment alone. Family and friends will be asked to wait in their cars. Parents/guardians can accompany minors and a family member or caretaker can assist seniors. Waiting room chairs have been decreased to allow appropriate social distancing. Staff wash hands or use sanitizer between patient contact. We invite you to do the same when you enter the office. Equipment, eyeglass frames, pens and surfaces that patients come in contact with are disinfected after every patient using products from the EPA's list of accepted disinfectants for use against SARS-CoV-2. It was scary and some things were taken but we are thankful that nobody was hurt and that we can still provide high quality care for our patients .
