So far there hasn't been any specific medication to consistently effectively treat Coronavirus, but there are several that might be of benefit should you end up getting COVID19. This information is evolving everyday, so in general it's best to rely on medical professionals when it comes to getting treated for COVID-19.

As authorities debate when and how they should ease social distancing and slowly return to normal life, Coronavirus continues to spread. Some medications have been reported to help improve patient recovery, but Dr. Moon reminds us to rely on the expertise of the doctors caring for you when it comes to receiving any treatment for the virus.

As we continue our efforts to slow and eventually halt the spread of Coronavirus, Dr. Moon reminds us to maintain our guards up while staying calm. Here he tells us how we all can help one another by wearing face masks when out in public.

It is encouraging to see more and more people become active in both wearing masks and making them as well. For general use, a cloth mask is useful if you have to be in public. However if possible, for the next week or two do not go out unless necessary, as this next week and possibly the next as well the US will see a large increase in people having problems with the virus.... Take a look at the link below if you are interested in making your own mask, and need information on how to take care of it. Stay safe and healthy! May you be blessed.

Although it is not recommended for the public to be using n95 masks (please don't horde these - medical personnel need them to do their jobs safely!), public use of surgical masks, even cloth masks would still be worthwhile. If you are out in public shopping or getting essential supplies, consider wearing a mask. Masks that are not n95-rated may not completely prevent you from getting COVID, but they in general are better than nothing (if only to keep you from touching your ...face), and moreover, they keep you the wearer from spreading your own germs! If we come together as a community and keep our germs to ourselves in public we could effectively decrease the overall rate of spread. Consider wearing a mask in public; and if you see someone else wearing one, consider it a form of politeness and graciousness on their part.

https://www.cdc.gov//2019-ncov/if-yo/care-for-someone.html As we deal with the coronavirus pandemic, some of us may be in a situation where we have a family member or friend we are caring for that has coronavirus but does not need to be in the hospital for it, as the majority of cases do not require hospitalization. The CDC has published articles online to assist you in learning how to do this safely. In general that person should remain in their own area or room, and any... shared areas need to be wiped down frequently, preferably with a bleach wipe. It's not easy being isolated in this way; but fortunately with technology we are never a phone call or internet meeting away from each other. For the sake of your family and friends, and really everyone, stay in touch but stay physically distant. The CDC site also has links to other good information about dealing with the coronavirus pandemic, on the website's toolbar on the left. Stay safe and healthy, -Dr. Moon

As the Coronavirus continues to spread, our efforts to distance ourselves from others, washing our hands frequently and cleaning countertops, surfaces and other areas we normally touch is so far the best way each of us can prevent rapid spread of this disease. Stay safe, calm, take it seriously. We need to physically keep distance from one another but remain united in this effort. Best wishes! Stay healthy!
