From @resolveorg This year has been anything but normal. We had to shut down treatment, stop surgeries, close our waiting room, and move to TeleHealth on a moment’s notice. We have had to adjust, and adapt, and pivot in a year when back to normal seems like it will never come. We continue to come into work, to show up for our patients, because we believe in our mission to help them build their family. We see you, you have been so strong, so brave this year. And we are here for you

#ACOG is the American Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Yesterday evening, we received this guidance from them. In summary, they are saying that the vaccine should not be withheld from pregnant patients who meet criteria for vaccination. That said, the vaccines currently available have not been tested in pregnant women, therefore there are no safety data related to use in pregnancy. Specific to individuals contemplating pregnancy: vaccination is strongly encouraged for ...those within the ACIP prioritization groups. These include 1) healthcare personnel and 2) residents of long term care facilities. . . We are also expecting to see guidance from #ASRM (the American Society of Reproductive Medicine) soon. For more questions regarding the vaccine, please feel free to reach out to us directly. As we have done throughout this very difficult year, #WSFC will continue to keep the lines of communication open and continue to adhere to best practices until we overcome this virus together See more

Because I think we could all use an uplifting story Beautiful words from our patient: . . There was a long period of time (4 years to be exact) where I never thought I’d even get to the appointment to see these images. We went through a lot...9 IUIs, taking different supplements, acupuncture, 1 full cycle of IVF consisting of 4 transfers. At that point we almost gave up, and I’m so glad we didn’t. We decided to try one more cycle, that resulted in our son. A couple of years... later we were ready to try again, but it unfortunately ended in miscarriage and DNC. We decided to try one last time, and now we have our beautiful twin girls who have completed our family! Everyday, I am grateful for our little miracles. . . . posted with permission. See more

Your Doc is on the move! My typical Wed starts at #WSFC seeing patients in person or via TeleHealth. Then OR at Clovis Community Hospital. Early morning start for your providers The three of us and our Lab Director meet during each cycle to review the patients, the pregnancies, the lab performance, and the challenging cases. We think about you...all the time. This week we saw the very public heartbreak of @chrissyteigen and her husband @johnlegend as they shared the loss of their son Jack. Pregnancy loss is heartbreaking. Though not a happy and lighthearted post as per my usual, it’s important to see this side of what I do as well. 1 in 4 women will suffer a loss during their reproductive years. Think about that for a minute. If you have 3 friends, one of you has likely had a miscarriage. Throughout the month of October, I’ll ...be sharing posts to increase awareness as it’s Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month #Repost @thebabychick with @get_repost "October is Infant and Pregnancy Loss Awareness Month. October is also the month that we welcomed our rainbow baby into our family. Although years have passed since our two miscarriages and we now have our almost one year old rainbow baby, I remember the pain of each loss so vividly. I remember each second I sat waiting for the positive tests. I remember anxiously waiting to see the little heartbeat on the screen. I remember the nurse who hugged me and cried as I received the unwanted news. The looks on our girls faces when we told them what happened. Our precious babies that grew their wings before we even met them will always be remembered in our hearts no matter how many years come and go. . Since sharing our story so many women and families have contacted us with their own stories of loss. We quickly realized how common pregnancy loss is. It's a silent struggle for so many women and families because it can be such a hard topic to discuss. As a family we want to do our part to change that. Let's talk about it! Let's talk about our pain, about the babies that never took their first breaths here on earth. Let's continue to remember those babies every single year! Let's talk about heaven and what it will look like one day, full of all the precious babies that were gone too soon. . This month our prayers go out to the women and families who have experienced infant or pregnancy loss. Know our hearts are with you and you are not alone. Please do your part by praying with us and remembering all the babies gone too soon " : @the.hubers
