Did you know that for some women, FET success rates can actually be much higher than fresh embryo transfers? A study published earlier this year by researchers at Stanford University found that in women over 35 with high progesterone levels, frozen embryo transfers were 73% more likely to result in an ongoing pregnancy than a fresh transfer. Evidence is building in favor of FET for specific patient populations, with very exciting implications for how we make decisions about embryo transfers. Thinking of questions to ask your fertility specialists during your first visit can be nerve-wrecking. Checkout someone of the questions we receive here at SCRC. Also, don't forget to visit our blog post for more questions! 1. If my infertility diagnosis is not clear, what tests will we run to narrow down the possible causes? 2. If we know what’s causing my infertility, is this condition likely to get worse over time, stay the same or maybe improve? 3.Which treatment do you r...ecommend we try first? Why? 4. What are your success rates with this treatment for patients like me? 5. Are there side effects or risks to this treatment I should be prepared for? http://bit.ly/2wSp4j0
