Happy 143rd birthday to Osteopathy! On June 22, 1974, at 10 AM, Dr. AT Still was struck with an idea which came to him fully and completely assembled, that he later called Osteopathy. In his Autobiography he stated that on that date he "flung to the breeze the banner of Osteopathy."

Happy Doctor's Day to all of my physician friends in FB-land. I know how hard you all work for your patients, and you deserve a special day. This is an extra special Doctor's Day as I have the amazing opportunity to represent every DO in the state of California!

What an amazing whirlwind of a week! I think it finally sunk in that I am now the president of the OPSC when I sat down this morning and got to use the gavel to lead my first board meeting. I can't begin to thank all the people who came to support me last night, or those who have expressed their well wishes and congratulations. So please allow me to just say thank you. What an honor and responsibility to lead the 1200 members of OPSC, and the ~8000 DOs in California. I hope to lead with the wisdom of Solomon, and the strength of David, and maybe even a bit of Yoda thrown in for luck!

Once again all 4 Chino Valley High Schools made the playoffs in football. Congrats to Chino Hills, Ayala, Don Lugo, and Chino!
